Kathleen's Dumb Brain

I would like to honor Kathleen's three years of health and recovery by planning a 3 mile run on Monday, June 4th at 5:45 from Courts Plus. We celebrate birthdays as a group....and I feel pretty passionate about celebrating Kathleen's life and reflecting on how she's impacted us in our years of knowing her. All our lives are too short. Often times when I am running...and struggling on the run, I muster out the final 3 miles by focusing on "I am Three." Some of you might know it as "JOY." Jesus, Others, Yourself; and I give one mile to each. Though she can't be there, let's celebrate Kathleen...and our own health...and our recoveries as well.

I think that is a wonderful idea and I will be there at 5:45 Monday morning. My thoughts and prayers will be with Kathleen as I run those 3 miles!

Somehow the comment I just made concerning the run for Kathleen got posted under her name...it was me, Sue! Sorry about that. I am still getting used to this blog and I am obviously technology challenged....hopefully I have it figured out now.

You guys are too much. That's very sweet of you. I'm touched. Really.

Would rather be hitting the streets with you, instead of having dye shot through my brain. Sorry for the graphics, but I couldn't resist. It's kind of cool (and scary as heck) having to be awake and alert enough to do commands while the doctors and nurses stand over me threading a tiny tube into my groin & alllll the up to my brain, all while watching 6 TV's that are hanging right above me. The last angio I had, my feet were sweating so badly, they had to wrap them in towels. Charming, huh?!

Anyway, thank you. I'll be able to run again on Thursday, hopefully.

Cheers to good health and good friends!

Kathleen

PS Tracy, do I get a certificate for having the longest blog name.
